Pet care experience
As a child of a mother who was raised on a farm, we always had dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, gerbils, fish and birds growing up. As an adult that trend continues. Since 2012 I've been involved in dog rescue. Between volunteering at Chicago Animal Control and Care and fostering dogs with ALIVE Rescue, Be Fido's Friend and One Tail at a Time, I've learned a lot about animal health, happiness, welfare, training, dog introductions, play, etc. I started my Rover business while my now deceased and beloved Pit Bull, Stella, was battling cancer. The bills were mounting and doggie daycare has been a blessing. Stella loved the doggie company and I was able to provide quality care for her. Fast forward a couple years later and I now have regular clients and a new ones that love my testimonials. We're open for business and are excited to meet your beloved fur family members. Your dog will be lovingly cared for while staying with me. **PS - if I'm not available the dates you need, message me anyway. We'll discuss your pet and I may be able to make an exception. Also, if you're looking for a few hours a day daycare, please message me. Options! Thank you.
Reviews
Anita is an exceptional dog sitter and is great at her job. She is a professional in loving your furry friend.
Anita is so caring and so professional. Our dog had a great time!
Anita was great! She was very thorough in understanding my dog’s normal behaviors, and is very obviously experienced with caring for dogs. Luna can be a little nervous, but Anita did a great job acclimating Luna when she arrived, and eased both Luna and my worries. Luna had a great week with Anita and playing with the other dogs in Anita’s care. Anita was also very kind and flexible with pickup when our return flight was delayed. I really appreciated the daily updates and pictures. I will definitely be using Anita’s services again in the future.
Anita takes great care of our pup!

A typical day
My home is your dog's home away from home. We have a super calm atmosphere that's perfect for older pets and couch potatoes. Having a small fenced back yard gives us an area to hang outside and take in fresh air. We have plenty of balls, toys and a doggie pool, should your dog be interested in some fun time.

I have worked full time from my home for years, and have routines in place that my pack and visiting dogs appreciate. We have plenty of breaks during the day for a backyard play and sunshine in my fenced back yard. During inclement weather, we have a basement play area.
