Pet care experience
Hi there furry friends! I'm Scooby, a 15 year old terrier mix that LOVES company of all kinds - big or small! I'm very easy going and enjoy sharing toys, dog bowls, all my sunny spots, my big backyard, walks, and hikes. I don’t go running anymore but if you need it my mom’s up for a run too! My mom has been watching dogs for many years and lived with dogs her whole life, so she really knows how to care for me and my friends. Being a nurse she makes me feel safe and she knows how to give me or my friends medicine when we happen to be sick or hurt. She likes to pamper and is known to even give my friends baths if needed! My mom works odd schedules and is home a lot and dad works during the day and is home in the evening, so there's almost always someone keeping us company. We all love going on outings to beautiful places in the bay area where we can find nice trails, lakes, creeks, and hills. We would love for you to have a sleepover and join the fun!

We are grateful for Anita’s great skill and kindness in caring for our dogs. We recently asked her to look after our newly rescued dog, Orla. She adroitly introduced Orla to her resident dog, Scoobie. She monitored them to insure they got along. She gave Orla the attention, exercise, and affection she needed. Our dog loves her. We highly recommend her!
Anita was very knowledgeable about dogs, took great care with my Yogi. The house is clean, comfortable, has dog toys, enclosed yard. Anita and Marcio are super nice and easy to deal with
Anita was amazing with our dog Kodak. Kodak has severe separation anxiety and Anita was so accommodating and helped problem solve to make sure he was comfortable. She sent me daily updates on how he was doing and he seemed to have a blast with her. He got lots of walks, fetch, playtime, and cuddles. Thank you, Anita!

I have a large fenced yard with a big lawn for doggies to play. We love a short drive from Lime Ridge and Shell Ridge open space where we like to hike when the weather is nice.

We prefer dogs under 40lbs. If more, we need to be sure your pet isn’t too rough with our old little boy. Is your pet rough playing with other dogs? Do they have accidents indoors? Does they chew furniture or are they destructive or anxious if left alone for short periods of time? Is your pet territorial or have they ever bitten a person or other dog?
A typical day
We like walking the nearby trails and, on occasion, go to Mt. Diablo foothill trails, Briones, etc. We like walking, jogging, and hiking or even staying in and playing fetch inside or in the big backyard.

I am a nurse and because I work weekends and evenings, my schedule usually only overlaps with Marcio’s full time M-F 9-5 job by a couple hours a few days per week. So doggies aren’t alone for long periods of time and get to go on walks, hikes, or to play in the back yard with me on most days.
