I LOVE DASCHUNDS! My husband and I both grew up with Daschunds. When we decided to get a dog in 1996 , we got Tex. Three years later, we got Sophie, a female, to be his companion. Tex passed away 4 yrs, ago, and we recently lost Sophie on July 17th, 2017. We are not ready for another dog of our own. So I thought , if I could assist someone else, that loves their dog as much as we loved ours, it would be a great fit. Our dogs lived life better than most people. We are extremely passionate and caring. However, I know how much I hated to leave my dogs to go on vacation etc... I just could not do it. Maybe you are the same as us, and need someone loving and caring to take care of your precious animal for only a few days here and there and only on the weekends. I promise your dog would be in the best of hands and we would love the opportunity to care for her or him on a short term basis. At this point, we do not want to replace our dog but we are willing to take care of someone elses that had the same fears as us leaving them to go away....
