Hi there, I have been working with dogs for nine years and have seven years of full time work as a professional dog trainer. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College. I have worked with dogs and dog owners in all types of settings including: - Dog Daycare Management - I have worked as a Boarding Manager at several different highly established and busy Dog Daycares around Denver (handling all breeds & temperaments, administering medications, experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs). Grooming - I am comfortable with bathing, brushing, and doing nail trims with all breeds and temperaments. If your dog is fearful of having his/her nails trimmed or being groomed, as a dog trainer I am able to work with you and your dog to overcome this fear to turn bath time into a stress free bonding experience for both humans and dogs. Dog Training - I have worked with a wide variety of temperaments and behavior problems. I specialize in behavior modification and working with dogs who are fearful and/or aggressively reactive to other animals and/or humans. I work closely with several local animal rescues training their volunteers to better handle their more difficult dogs to make them more adoptable. Along with working with behavior issues, I also have experience with group classes that teach obedience and agility. I am certified in positive reinforcement but I also have experience with balance training, I am constantly learning new training methods and working to continue my education with dog behavior. I strive to incorporate the latest dog training methods and techniques whiles also keeping to my own personal methods based upon my experience. A little about me, I am a Colorado native and have been living in Southeast Denver for the past six years. I live with my fiance and our three animals. Together we have a German shepherd, a Chihuahua and a cat. I love to be outdoors and spend most of my free time camping and hiking but I do very much enjoy a quiet night at home with friends watching movies and playing games. As a professional dog trainer I work for myself and I set my own hours, therefore have an entirely flexible schedule to provide the absolute best service for you and your animals.
