Growing up on a lively farm with a rescue beagle, a German shepherd, and a variety of other animals, I developed a deep-rooted love and understanding for all creatures great and small. My life was filled with the joys and responsibilities of caring for dogs, pigs, goats, donkeys, and chickens, instilling in me a profound comfort and skill in animal care. Now residing in Boulder, I've dedicated over a year and a half to volunteering at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, where I've honed my expertise in dog walking and foster care. Although I occasionally open my heart and home to foster dogs, I ensure full commitment and attention to my pet sitting duties, promising your furry friend will not share their space with a foster sibling. My life has been a testament to my passion for walking and caring for dogs, making me the ideal companion for your beloved pet. Should I need to step out, I ensure they're left for no more than 3 hours, and I cater to their comfort, whether they prefer being crated or roaming freely in my room. I love taking long walks and am more than happy to go for runs if your dog enjoys a faster pace. For mental stimulation, I incorporate enrichment activities into our routine, such as using Kongs filled with treats and lick mats to keep them entertained and mentally sharp. My aim is to ensure your dog has a fun, fulfilling experience every time we're together.

Having recently graduated from the University of Colorado and now navigating the application process for medical school, I find myself working from home about 20 hours a week. This arrangement not only provides ample time for focused work but also grants me the liberty to take frequent breaks. These breaks are the highlight of my day, allowing me to engage in walks or even runs, ensuring both I and any pup in my care stay active and happy. My active lifestyle and love for the outdoors mean I'm always eager for the next adventure, be it a leisurely stroll or a heart-pumping run, depending on what your dog enjoys. In short, pet care is not just a task on my to-do list; it's a joyful and enriching part of my daily and weekly routine, perfectly complementing my active and flexible lifestyle.
