Pet care experience
I have cared for pets varying in shape and size since 2015, ranging from Chihuahuas and wiener dogs to pit bulls, mastiffs, and samoyeds. I love dogs deeply and love to play, pet, and run with them. I worked in an animal hospital for two years, so I know how to administer any kind of medication (including insulin), and I have also worked with many blind and deaf dogs. I am home for the summer, and will devote all of my free time to caring for any dog who needs attention, or just needs to be walked and fed.

Anika is punctual, follows instructions to a T and will spend extra time loving your furry friend when you are away. She works for a veterinary clinic caring for boarded pets when she is home from college so she is very knowledgeable about animal handling.
We have three large dogs who have mild extra needs and require specific care instructions. Anika is our go-to dog sitter for our furry babies when we are out of town. I completely trust her to care for our animals to the same level we do. They all clearly love her, and she is great at handling what could easily turn into a chaotic situation. Anika is extremely responsible and reliable. I have referred her to friends of mine, and she has since become their go-to dog sitter as well. I would highly recommend Anika to care for your dogs.

I would like to know if the dog has any special medication or routines to follow, so that I can keep your pet as happy as possible. The breed does not make a difference to me, but if your dog needs to meet me ahead of time to get used to me being around them before I watch them, I would prefer to meet them beforehand.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on stimulating walks, so your dog sets the pace. If their favorite thing to do is smell every tree within 5 minutes of your house, then I will be patient! If they need a fast-paced distance walk, I can do those as well.
