Hi! My name is Anika. As a baby I was put on the floor for the dogs to sniff me over and the rest is history. I am from Minnesota originally. I am working as a doctor in Ct now. I love dogs but am not allowed to own a dog in my current apartment. I have experience volunteering at the animal shelter in Woodbury and for Adopt a Husky. In D.C. I am a professional dog walker and have a job with another dog walking company as well. I love meeting new dogs and taking them outside for a walk. If there is anything I can do to make the walk better for your dog I am happy to do so. "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole"

It is rare that you find someone as dedicated to dogs and their well being as Anika. She cares deeply for every dog she meets (even those just walking on the street!) and is known for her strong love of dogs. I wouldn't ever hesitate to put my dog in her care because I'm confident that she'd provide the best care possible.
Anika has been taking care of dogs for many years and is wholly comfortable around them. We have 3 Siberian Huskies (plus sometimes a 4th as a foster) and she is always capable and friendly around them all. Highly recommend.
Wouldnt want anyone else! Anika loves dogs and cares for all of them so well. Five stars! If I could rate her 10 stars I would!

I read/learn as much about the dog as I can prior to arriving. I open the door carefully and ensure the leash/harness is secure prior to leaving for the walk. I make sure the dog is comfortable, has water, etc before I leave

-Access to the home -If the dog is friendly to children or other dogs -If it would be okay for people we pass by to pet the dog -Can I fill up the dog's water dish after the walk or give a treat on my way out? -Does the dog have any triggers I should be aware of? or allergies? -I grew up with huskies and volunteer for Adopt a Husky but am open to walking any breed.
A typical day
If your dog wants to wander and sniff, we will go for a snuffari :) If your dog has a lot of energy we can walk fast, maybe even run!
