Wagging tails and barking allowed!

Pet care experience

We are a fun, animal loving family that enjoys taking care of dogs and puppies of all ages. Young and old, we love them all! We have 4 kids who adore playing, cuddling and rolling around with them. I am a stay at home Mom and my husband works from home most days. We have a dog named Coach who is 7 years old. He is a German Short hair who loves to have friends over to play and spend time with him. We also have a cat, Willow, who tolerates dogs, but tries hard to stay out of their way. We live on a cul de sac right across the street from a large field where we can take your dog to play catch or to run. We have an extra large fenced in back yard where the dogs can relax and enjoy themselves, or if we need to get out of the house, we live less than a mile away from Lake Minnewashta Dog park where we can walk the trails and play with other dog friends too! We love to be active and are outdoors a lot. We would love to have your dog come stay with us.

Brando asked us if he could go back to Angie’s the day we brought him home after a 2 week visit! Angie and her entire family are incredibly loving, attentive, engaging and responsible! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Brando was getting the kind of love and exercise he gets at home.. and then some! I would recommend Angie to anyone who is looking for a more personal touch than a large kennel can provide. Awesome!

Angie was fantastic! I was nervous to use rover but she made it very successful and comforting. She was very responsive and sent me amazing photos while Jewels stayed with her (German Shepard in her photos). Her kids seemed to enjoy having her as well. She was honest that Jewels had a rough 1st night but she made me feel comfortable with all the extra love and cuddles they gave her. I'll definatley use her again! My dog and her dog, Coach, got along well and he was kind enough to put up with her 1 year old hyper self! Ha

This family worked magic on my dogs!! Angie was out of town, so her dad watched my 11 year old lab and my 18 week old German wirehaired pointer puppy, and the puppy came back listening much better...even though it was only a weekend stay! Loved that my dogs had free run of the house, and we’re allowed to sleep in bed. Great fenced in backyard-plenty of room to run! We would for sure use Angie’s house again!

Sassy had a lot of attention and outdoor time and we really love the large, fenced back yard! Sass is 11 years old and still likes a lot of activity which she got with their dog, Coach (about the same age) but she was able to rest and relax too. A great family environment and we would recommend.

Information Angie T. would like to know about your pet

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs that we need to be aware of. We would also like to know if your dog is aggressive, or if they tend to not get a long well with cats (we would keep our cat away from the dog).

A typical day

We will exercise your dog at least once a day by playing catch with them or taking them on a walk, and playing with them. Our kids love having dogs to play with and will keep your dog very busy! When your dog is tired and wants to nap, they have run of the house on where they can curl up and get some shut eye. If they like to sleep on a couch, they can sleep on our couch! If they are more comfortable in a kennel, we have one large kennel that they can sleep in as well. Our goal is to make your dog feel at home while you are away. Photos of your dog will be sent to you so you can see how they are doing.
