I’ve fostered 17 dogs while being a full time nursing student, and currently foster for SSH when time allows me to. Additionally I’ve Grown up with dogs & rescued the two that I own! I found Roxy in a dumpster at 3months old, and Roscoe’s litter was dumped on the side of the road at 3 weeks! I am in the medical research field, while my husband WFH in the Ed Tech space. I absolutely love dogs, and now that I finally own a house, I can dog sit again! My two pups are under 25lbs, and love to play. I have a yard and love to Go on runs! I have no kids, and view my pets and pets in general as children/ an extension of family. I meaning I will keep a close eye on them and treat them as my own. My pets roam free all day. If they’re not feeling well while I’m away running errands, we will put them in their dog room that has a camera where i can keep a close eye on them. The room is a bed room converted to a “dog bedroom” with beds and toys and benches and food! Since I don’t have kids, we have one of the spare rooms, converted into a doggy room where they can look out the window and have a safe space to play and wait for us, and not get into the trash or pantry.
