Pet care experience
I’ve worked in grooming salons, boarding facilities, doggie daycares, for AKC breeders of merit, and volunteering at a no-kill shelter. I have experience with mixed breed and purebred dogs of different personality types and ages. I offer my weekend house sitting services in the Spokane area and am open to work with pets of all sizes and species. I love meeting new pets and owners and believe in a positive-reward based approach.

Angie has a great deal of experience working with all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. She is always very patient and caring, and she takes the time to get to know each animal's unique personality and needs. I have seen her work with pets of all ages and temperaments, and she always knows just how to make them feel comfortable and happy. She truly has a gift for working with animals!

I am an avid reader of dog training books and find that the best way to get to know a dog is just to make friends and have fun!

If your dog is staying with me, they must be good with Guinea Pigs and they cannot be in heat. I am fine with puppies and intact canines. I want to know about the positive things your dog does but also the things they may need work on. I also need to know your routine and if the dog has a medical needs. I require a Vet Reference for emergencies.
A typical day
I enjoy going to many parks around Spokane, and finding fun places to explore. I always want to make sure there are plenty of positive experiences and treats on our walks! I walk for a minimum of 30 minutes. While house sitting, learning your pets routine and incorporating their needs into my day is very important to me. Open communication is my priority while staying at your home.

Availability
Pet care is a major part of my life. I currently have two dogs and a guinea pig. The dogs being cared for at my home need to be alright with small animals. I work at a doggy daycare, so my life is 24/7 pet care sometimes!
