In order to maintain the healthiest environment for your dog, we need a copy of your Veterinary records. These records must show your dog is completely up to date on all of his/her shots. We also need documentation showing that your dog has undergone a fecal exam, with the results showing negative for worms, parasites or anything else that is unwanted, within 4 weeks of your stay. As a result, we understand that this will require some to have an extra visit to the veterinarian. We do apologize for any inconvenience. We just want to say that the only way we can ensure that our dogs and any other dog that is in our care will remain in the best of health is to continue to have healthy dogs enter our home. We have puppies and old-timers in our care daily. Some parasites that give dogs between 2 - 9 simple diarrhea can be fatal to those outside the age range. We give our absolute best efforts in providing true quality care for your pets, and we hope you will understand why it is imperative to implement this policy. Please Note: No hand-written records, coded e-mails, or owner administered vaccines are acceptable. We will not accept your pet if the required records are not received at the time of drop-off. 2. Doggie Daycare: My client's dogs come to my home during the day, dropping off around 6-9am and picking up around 3-6pm. Example: If you drop off at 6am, you have until 3pm to pick up your pet. If you drop off at 8am you have until 4pm to pick up your pet, etc. If you need to drop off earlier than 6am, please let us know. We will work with you. Doggie Daycare ends at 6pm regardless of drop off time. Anything after 6pm is considered Dog Boarding 3. Dog Bording drop off/pick-up is from 6am-8pm. There is no drop off or pick up after 8pm. 4. Please make sure your pet is wearing his/her dog ID tags at the time of drop off 5. We have upgraded our services with the ability to offer bones, rawhide's or bully sticks during your dogs stay. With the exception of the rawhide's all other chews are natural chews. I've been working with animals for more that 14 years. I volunteer at local animal shelters and have experience with all breeds While you're pet stays at my home, they will receive all day love and attention. If your pets have any unwanted behavior we also have dog training programs. We can work with your dog while he/she stays with us. Your pup will get 3-5 walks per day and unlimited playtime. Whether it's doggie daycare or boarding, your dog will love his stay and go home extra tired from his/her daily fun activities. Our boarding & doggie daycare is kennel free. We have multiple beds throughout the house for your dogs resting needs. Outside, we have a large puppy play area with a small doghouse in case they just want to lounge outside. In the event that we have multiple large dogs, we will use this area for smaller dogs. This prevents them from getting hurt and being overwhelmed by the larger dog. If your dog is boarding with us, he/she will sleep either in our room or wherever he/she feels most comfortable. Let us know if you would like to do a meet and greet. We would love to have your dog(s) stay at Magazu's Mutt Hut. Our dog training is focused around pack mentality. We have many programs to choose from, from one hour to monthly. Shorter programs are designed to create a foundation of obedience, and then train the owner to continue the progression of their dog. Depending on how the dog responds we use clicker training, verbal and treat positive reinforcement, verbal and pincher collar corrective reinforcement and E-Collar corrections, the E-Collar is for request only. If it is not requested we do not use it. Our main goal is to teach the dogs appropriate house behavior, leash command and basic obedience behaviors. This can be accomplished with shorter training packages, one - two week programs. Intermediate to advanced obedience can only be accomplished with time. There is not a quick path to advanced obedience. It takes consistency and constant reinforcement of behaviors for a dog to gain advanced obedience. We have been training and rehabilitating dogs for over a decade. Each specific breed and mix breed require different methods of training and demand. For the majority of pets the main focus will be leash behavior and establishing the pack order. For any potential training session an evaluation is required. I cannot afford to have a dog that red zones, and will not train or rehabilitate a dog that red zones. Since we have boarding and doggie daycare we cannot afford any potential dog conflicts. The evaluation helps us identify problematic areas. For example, leash behavior, dominance or submission, food and bone aggression, socialization issues, anxiety chewing and barking, or any other behavior issue. These evaluations help us create a curriculum and determine the length of training required. After training we have affordable "daycare" training sessions. These are designed to reinforce the behaviors learned from the training programs. Depending on how much you want your dog to work, you can choose one hour of training with the remaining time in daycare. The prices do vary based on the length of training time. Don't hesitate to ask us about these services. Lastly, any dog that has been through my training program becomes a preferred client. This dog can be dropped off on sudden notice any time.
