Ease your concerns about leaving your dog(s) behind while you’re away: I will provide a safe, comfortable, “home away from home” atmosphere. A bit about me: I love dogs and truly enjoy being a dog sitter/boarder. I had two miniature pinschers (father and son) that have both passed within the past year or so. We had them for 17 and 19 years. We also had an Alaskan Malamute for nearly 10 years that we rescued around 3 that was abused and neglected by previous owners. They were all of course "the best dogs ever" and our precious babies. In addition to my experience with my own dogs, I have taken care of many friends and family's dogs over the years and also have the most wonderful clients through my private sitting/boarding service. I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so thought it would be rewarding to care for other people's dogs in the meantime. So, I have years of experience with puppies, rescues, senior dogs, and those with behavioral issues, special needs, etc. I work from HOME FULL-TIME and never away longer than an hour or two. I provide clean bedding, blankets, and food and water bowls, but feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer. I have toys (i.e., tennis balls, rope, squeakers, plush) and treats, but again, feel free to bring their favorites, and any other personal items. I will administer any needed medication and follow your specified feeding regimen. To keep all dogs in my home as healthy as possible, I require all dogs to be current on their rabies and distemper vaccinations and provide proof of such.
