Home away from home!

Pet care experience

I am here to provide your pet a safe, relaxing, loving place to stay busy, and occupied while you are away. Thanks for stopping by my profile! I'm Angellee and I look forward to potentially caring for your babies! I have several dogs and a cat of my own, and have worked with animals in a pet hotel. As well as spent many years volunteering at local shelters as well as fostering shelter dogs and doing transports. I currently work for an animal shelter. It can be scary leaving your best friend and baby behind when you go away. You're scared to use a boarding facility or pet hotel when you can't be sure someone will actually be caring for your baby and sadly I've seen some not stellar care being given which infuriated me. They can also be costly. Having someone, ultimately a stranger may leave you feeling uneasy about them pet sitting in your home. With me, I absolutely LOVE animals. Small, big, handicap, dog or cat or small animals. Does not matter. I will treat your baby as if they are one of my babies while you are gone. We will play, cuddle, go for walks, have treats and hang out until you get back. I can keep your pup away from my dogs if you want them to have solo individual care (I have a study we converted into a spare dog room) or they can have play time with my little ones. If you have a strict schedule set, I will follow it or if you want me to improvise I can do that to. I'm very flexible. I live in a suburb but have a decent sized backyard which includes a brand new fence. (Don't mind one of the pictures, the fence was being installed and now it is perfect/no gaps!) Thinking about adding a kiddie pool for the pups on hot days so if you're dog likes to swim, be sure to pack their bathing suit (just kidding)! I also would love to keep you updated while you're away to help give you piece of mind. I know I get anxiety any time I go out of town even for one night. I can text or email you pictures of your baby during his/her stay. I want this to be as relaxing/easy for you and as stress less as possible for your pooch. I gladly work with special needs animals. I have a deaf dog and a tripawd and have no problem with deaf, blind, or other handicapped animals as long as I feel confident in their care. Any questions feel free to contact me. Good luck on your search! About this sitter: I love animals. From dogs and cats, to exotics like tigers and penguins. I have 5 rescue dogs, 2 rescue cats and Scooba Steve my betta fish. I've had dogs for the past 8yrs, as soon as I moved out of my parents home. I'm really into the rescue world and saving animals. I foster and take photos for the shelters FB page. I enjoy the time I get to spend with animals. Why I love dog sitting I've always loved all animals since I was a child. I always wanted dogs growing up but my mother never felt the same way about them. As soon as I was old enough to move out for college, I got my own place and rescued my first dog. That was a little over 8yrs ago. I also started volunteering at a local rescue in RI 7yrs ago. I volunteered there for 3 yrs before moving to OK. I volunteered on base for 2 yrs while stationed there, and then started fostering here in TX back in August. I could not imagine my home without a dog! Meet my pets I have 2 cats, Suhtan and Kovy. They are both rescues and yes, named after NHL players. I also have a betta fish, Scooba Steve or more recently known as Fancy Pants after his home was decked out in christmas lights for the holidays. About my yard I have a decent sized back yard. It is completely fenced in with a new 7ft wood fence (6 months old). I have several small dogs, so we've made it as escape proof as possible with no small holes to run through or planks to run under. There is a small concrete patio and then the rest is all grass (when this TX weather allows it!) and wide open with nothing in the yard. Also I NEVER leave my dogs unattended in the back yard alone even on potty breaks, and the same would go for your pup. I am physically outside with them watching them whenever they go out the back door. My experience administering medication I am, as long as it is oral medication. I do not feel comfortable administering any type of shots.

Angellee was a great host for our Jazz, while visiting in the Dallas area our RV caught on fire and burned. We couldn't find a local hotel that didn't charge an arm and a leg for pet fees so I turned to Dogvacay! Under the circumstance Jazz had to stay for 3 nights and God led us to Angellee. We received pictures and updates daily. When we picked up Jazz Angellee gifted Jazz with her first Easter baskets full of treats and new chew toys. We were going to have to get Jazz all new one from the fire but now we don't have to. If we are ever in the area again, we know exactly where Jazz can stay and be safe!

Topaz and Oreo had a wonderful time with Angelee! I didn't worry one bit while they were in her care! I'll be re-booking next time they need some TLC when we have to be away! Thank you for taking extra-special care and making them - and us - feel welcome!

Angelle V. was awesome!!! She treated our dog like one of hers. Very easy to communicate with and always reachable. During our pet entire stay, she kept us well informed on how our pet was adapting and doing by sending texts and pictures. Leaving a pet behind isn't easy for pet owners but Angelle V. made the situation less stressful for everyone. Thanks Angelle V.!!!

I do not have any breed preferences, I truly love them all. The "vicious" breed label is nothing but that, a label. An incorrect one at that. Whether you have a chihuahua, a pit bull or a great dane, they will all receive the same amount of love and care in my home. I like to know how the dog is with other dogs as well as if they have any allergies.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I walk around my neighborhood, mainly on side roads to avoid major roads and car traffic. There's also 2 parks not too far from my house. If you normally bring your dog to the dog park, I can do that as well with a dog park less than 5 minutes (driving distance) from my house. Your dog's sleeping arrangement That depends on you and your home. If your dog is kenneled at night, then I can do that. If your dog sleeps in a dog bed on the floor by your bed, I can do that. Or if your dog sleeps in bed with you, I can do that too. Whatever you do is the guide line I follow to help keep the peace when they return home with you. Time I'll spend with your dog Majority of the day. If I am not home, my husband is, so someone will always be here with the pup. If you allow your dog to sleep in your bed, then they will be allowed to do so here as well.
