Pet care experience
While I have not had the pleasure of owning a dog myself, I have taken care of my cat for 3+ years and my sister's dog for several years. In the past I have volunteered at the ASPCA, helping to feed and walk some of the dogs there. I am a lover of all animals and always eager to spend time with them, as well as broaden my horizons by learning more about them and how to best care for them. I am a fast and eager learner who is very adaptable to different situations. Thank you very much for considering me, and I hope to hear from you soon!

I would like to know if they enjoy interacting with other dogs and people so I don't stress your dog out or get anyone hurt, if they have any special needs- dietary, physical, mental or otherwise- and if there's anything I need to or can do to keep them happy and healthy, if they know any commands and what those are, and any preferences they have to nearby locations we could visit on walks or activities they really enjoy. Additionally, if I'm going to be taking care of them in your home I'd like to know any relevant information to keep your home clean and dog safe.
A typical day
If applicable, I'd go on walks to a nearby park or dog park- if they enjoy interacting with other dogs- where they could enjoy more open space and chase squirrels to their hearts content, but if not I could take your pup on a mini adventure and explore the neighborhood.

I typically have a flexible schedule and will always be willing to help out, even last minute, granted I have the time. I am a Bronx native, but I'm more than willing to travel to Manhattan and some parts of Brooklyn if needed. I'm available 8am-11pm.
