Your pets joy, my promise.
Pet care experience
I grew up with Canine Companion dogs in my home because my dad had a progressive disability and he had a service dog. I saw the powerful impact this had on my dad’s life so I decided to become a volunteer when I turned 16 years old. Even now that I am in college, when I go to my hometown for breaks, I volunteer with Canine Companions for Independence. As a volunteer at CCI, I have had the opportunity to provide short-term foster care for CCI dogs in my home, transport CCI dogs to the airport to transition to another facility in the US, as well as walk dogs at the Northwest facility. I also assisted in a canine cognition research project. I have co-raised a CCI puppy as a volunteer puppy raiser as well. In addition to my experience at CCI, I have worked at a pet store and been a veterinary assistant at a local emergency pet hospital. I love animals and being able to help my community is something I have always had a passion for.
Reviews
Angelina has cared for our dog many times, both for quick checks-ins and weeklong vacations! Angelina is patient, intuitive, consistent, and reliable. She can walk our very large, energetic German Shepherd without any problems. Angelina has extensive experience with dog training and is very knowledgeable about any number of pet-related needs! She is always my first phone call whenever I have questions or concerns about our pup! Angelina brings a positive approach to all her interactions, both with our pup, and our family. Our dog absolutely adores her!
Angelina is my go-to person for help with my dogs and questions about how to care for them. She’s raised cci dogs, she worked as an emergency vet, and generally just loves all animals. When I need help with my pets she’s the one I call!
About Angelina S.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
When I am in my hometown during my college breaks, I can offer services for pets in my home, but while I’m at college I will be pet sitting and dog walking. At the moment I do not have a dog in the house, but in April, my mom and I will have a trained two year old female dog. We also have a spacious backyard with large fences. Wherever I am, your pets happiness and safety is my top priority.
Information Angelina S. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know where different supplies are ( for example, where the poop bags are, leash, collar, toys). It is also good to know the pet’s activity level so that I can properly provide the pet with enough stimulation and activity. It is very important to know if the pet has any allergy’s, medications, and physical needs. I need to know the size of the pet as well as its temperament so I can be prepared. Emergency contacts are essential as well. Lastly, it would be nice to know the pets dietary requirements, routines, and likes and dislikes.
A typical day
For dogs, we will go on walks, play fetch, play with toys, and reward with treats with available. Depending on the cat, I will give it affection by petting it and playing toys if the cat is inclined to.

I am a college student and I have always loved taking care of pets. I do not have a full time job so I will have plenty of time to play with your animals. Walking dogs and pet sitting has always brought me so much joy. Animals are truly amazing creatures and they deserve the best treatment.
