Pet care experience
We are a couple with 2 dogs and 15 chickens in a fenced yard. We have always had pets while raising our four children. Because we love the breed and wanted to share with others, 20 years ago we started breeding golden retrievers with much success. Being recently retired and loving dogs we decided to start helping others by boarding with Rover. We have boarded dogs on occasion for family and friends with positive results for ourselves and the pet owners. We’d love the chance to talk to you about providing a loving home for your fur babies when needed.

We have a fenced yard and are outside a lot spending time with our pets. Our goldens are super friendly and love playing with other dogs. We also crate inside the house as needed.

It’s helpful if we can know if they sleep in their own crate. Having their own “bed” helps tremendously making them comfortable and calm. Also we require all visiting dogs to be current on flea meds as we treat our pets and want to insure no flea infestation in our home and yard.
A typical day
We love interacting with pets outside by playing fetch and providing toys for them. We also enjoy just hanging out with them in the yard and loving on them.

I work part time with a flexible schedule and my husband is retired. I am home almost all of the time. This allows flexibility in caring for pets as little or as much as needed.
