Fun facts: I am an experienced pet care professional. I have worked as a professional dog-walker and pet-sitter. I also have worked at a grooming salon and doggy daycare. I can cut nails and give your pooch a nice bath. This comes in handy for pet owners who want their dogs to go for a romp in the park; which happens to be one of my favorite things to do! I have been to most of the local dog parks and can't get enough. I have tons of experience administering meds to both cats and dogs. I am that person at the party who finds the cat or dog and spends the whole night hanging out with the pets then later telling their owners how amazing they are. I will talk to your pet. It will be a great conversation. I will most likely sing to them when no one else is around I have been caring for pets and animals since about the time I learned to walk. I decided to join Rover.com because whether its for money or as a favor, I am always finding myself caring for pets of not only just friends and family, but also a growing list of acquaintances who have heard of me through the grapevine as a pet sitter. I feel like its natural for me. I have been asked to train people's pets. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, lizards. You name it. I love them all. I raised a Mastiff from a newborn puppy (see my profile pic) and trained him myself. Raising an extremely powerful giant breed dog to be gentle and kind and sociable and well-trained is one of things I am most proud of. I learned a lot from this experience: about animal psychology and how to train dogs as well as about who I am as a person. I recently lost both my pets to old age and have lots and lots of love to give during this time of adjustment to them being gone. I have a very flexible schedule and am a very flexible person. I am physically fit and like to be outdoors, but also love to curl up with a good book on a nice sunny couch. Whether its young puppy who needs to run, or a senior pet who just needs a potty break and some cuddles, I will be able to adapt to your pet.
