Angelica was great! She was eager to accommodate my dog’s needs, flexible with drop off/pick up times, and good with communication. And best of all my dog was happy. Would definitely recommend and will be going back to her in the future.

Angelica was so good with my dog and very patient with her. Stella had a grand time and if I am ever in Philly again she will be my choice with no second thoughts. Thanks Angelica!

Professionally Trained Animal Lover

Hi all,
I can't wait to meet your pups and even walk and play with them. As a nerdy dog lover, getting requests to meet your wonderful pup is the highlight of my day. Even though I'm a bit new to Rover, I think I'm one of the more experienced people out there.

While I think most people on the app love dogs as much as me, what makes me special is that I take ...

What Angelica would like to know about your dog

I require a meet and greet to discuss this type of information. Exceptions may apply for some last minute stays given you are willing to talk to me for several minutes at the start of the stay, but I would strongly prefer a meet and greet before booking.

It's usually about a half hour long and we discuss everything from medical issues to his/her favorite toy.

I have a cat named Sir Pawl McCatney that mostly just ignores the dogs. If your dog won't ignore my cat, we should talk about that. There have been times when a dog came that had never seen a cat and it worked out amazingly, so only worry if you've actively seen a behavior. Even so, I've kept my cat in separate rooms back when Pawl was new to this and everyone was happy so it isn't necessarily a deal breaker.

In your initial message to me just say something fun and memorable about your dog and we'll go from there.

When Angelica watches your pet

All of this is flexible according to the needs of the individual dog. The average stay tends to look something like this:

I start out the day according to their regular routine, usually with their first walk and breakfast.

After breakfast we usually do a low energy activity. Many dogs are used to their owner being away during the day, so they would be more comfortable with indoor play during this time. It is important to keep to routine with a new sitter/environment. If I know your dog a little better, we will eventually use this time to go on extended walks, outdoor playtime or even the dog park.

In the late afternoon, we tend to do more treats and extended walks. As opposed to playtime earlier, we might walk a mile, stroll through the park, or do a very high energy activity to build up an appetite for dinner.

Ideally, the pup is tired out by the evening. This is prime cuddle time! Then we do the nighttime walk, go to bed and reset the day.

I am in walking distance of Columbus square park (dog park), Dickinson Square (leash park) and Passyunk. It's a dog friendly area with lots of outdoor activities, to say the least. In a weeklong stay I will not run out of fun activities to try out.
