Angel was booked with Angelic from Dec 29-Jan 1 and I had to fly back from Maui to pick her up early on Saturday Dec 30 as I felt unsafe…I called the Rover hotline for help Drop off was suppose to be noon on Dec 29 but Angelic contacts me last minute 10am to drop Angel earlier at 1100am….my daugther and I waiting outside till 1120am First Rover policy is the person on the app is suppose to dog sit your dog but she leaves the house for long periods of time and have her sons watch the dogs…other people in the household can only assist…her son doesn’t look happy watching dogs She contacted me the morning of Dec 30 at 800am that my dog was barking all night and urinated all over herself Btw Angelic never uses your dogs name…she just says your dog…I don’t think she knows their names Dogs communicate through barking either potty hungry thirsty or just need a little love or hug I asked her why didn’t she contact me on Friday night and she admitted she went to a concert and her sons watched the dogs and told her what happen….she admitted to me she went golfing in the day and concert at night But instead tells her sons to put their earphone or earplugs on and ignore the barking….later she tells me she’s going to to Honolulu with her family in evening for dinner? This time the dogs will be completely alone This was when I knew I had to get Angel out of there asap When I picked up Angel she smelled bad and all her bedding stunk. When Angelic opened her house door when I picked up Angel I could smell a bad odor at the gate coming out of the house. Angelic didn’t drop any eye drops in Angels eyes cause it was badly dry. When I got home Angel was so hungry and thirsty and ate two servings of food When I looked in Angel bag all her food was still in the containers like she wasn’t fed and that’s why Angel was so hungry….I had to bathed Angel twice and wash her bedding twice and I still couldn’t get the smell off completely Dogs know when you truly care about them Angelic profile says 20 years experience? and senior experience? and daily exercise??? Angelic didn’t send me any photos when I requested for her to send me a photo so I can see Angel is ok…no photos If I could let you all read her messages to me you would see she has no compassion…just heartless She won’t invite you in her home to meet her dogs or how the dogs are set up in the house for feeding sleeping playing or potty etc and that should of been a red flag but I trusted Rover Safety is the utmost priority when choosing a dog sitter and my dog was not safe at all I had two great dog sitters on Rover before Angelic and I gave them the best reviews and a big tip for such great service and they sent me so many photos of Angel while on our trip As a true testimonial I would not recommend this sitter especially if you don’t want your dog locked up in cages alone and need to go to the potty when they bark ….They will ignore the barking… and she had the nerve to tell me she’s doing me a favor?…not even an apology Angelic should not book dogs if she can’t watch the dogs herself and plan to go out long periods of time…errands ok I almost was not going to do a review at all but I realized I need to think about the next dog….i wouldn’t want your dog to go through what Angel went through.. If I had my way I wouldn’t give Angelic any stars but I had to click on one star to do this review
