Hot Diggity! Steven, Angie and Ruby (our nearly 2 year old Chiweenie) here and we are not embarrassed to admit that we often LIKE PETS BETTER THAN PEOPLE! (Present company excluded, of course.) Yes, we admit that people have their strengths too, however we believe that each pet is a unique being that deserves to be treated with as much love and joy as they give to us. This is our personal philosophy and the principle that guides all the services we offer. Steven and I recently decided to shift gears and get off the proverbial hamster wheel for a bit, but for the last several years we've worked in the very demanding field of domestic violence prevention and education. As professionals constantly on the go, we know how easy it is to feel like you are neglecting your pet's needs while you struggle to meet all the demands of daily life. Steven and I are excited to emBARK (pun obviously intended) on this next phase of life and start caring for your pet! In short, we want help you and your much loved pet feel good and have the best life possible. Together Steven and I have decades of experience caring for a variety of pets. Growing up Steven's house was chock-full of pets, at any given time you could find 2-3 dogs and 3-4 cats. He was also a professional dog walker in NYC. While I am less experienced I am currently enrolled in a CPR and First Aid For Pets Course. We have a number of services we are prepared to offer, but if you need something not listed feel free to ask!

Thank you for taking good care of my Chloe girl while she was staying at Grammys! Angela and Steve are new to the app, but they are very dedicated and nice people. Excellent communication too, even came to meet Chloe the day before so she was ready for her walking date the next day.
Although Angela & Steven are new to Rover, they are doing a fantastic job with my dog Daisy. Reports are complete and timely so I can rest easy knowing that she is being well taken care of. I can tell Daisy enjoys her visits with them because when I get home and take her out she sniffs the ground for them. Well done. I plan on using them every week. Thanks.

We'd like to know what makes your dog uncomfortable and what situations we should avoid while walking your dog. Also, it'd be helpful to know how well your dog is socialized and if it's been aggressive in the past. Essentially, we want to honor any precautions you'd like us to take so let us know if you have any special requests. Nothing will be considered unreasonable. If it matters to you and your pet, it matters to us. We intend to always do our walks together so there will always be 2 of us to diffuse any potentially dangerous situations. We may have to impose some restrictions, but that will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
A typical day
Honestly, we are open to all requests. We'll take your dog around the block or to the dog park if you want. At all times we will ensure your dog is safe, well hydrated and having fun! We'll also send you as many photos as you'd like. Just let us know -- we're here to make sure you feel comfortable and that your dog is enjoying itself. Need us to bring a package inside or turn off a crock pot? We'll do that too!
