Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! My family got Bandit, our Chow Chow, when I was little and I grew to love all animals from there. I have worked at pet stores, in vet clinics, and as a pet sitter for friends and family for over 10 years and I've had pets of my own for over 8. As a pet sitter for friends I've had the joy of helping with pets that needed extra attention, medicine, or taken care of in a specific way. And my volunteer time at the humane society has given me extra experience as well! I worked as a groomer assistant/bather and animal caretaker for a short time with a small veterinary clinic that helped me to hone my skills for bathing, walking, and caring for cats and dogs.

Angela is one of the best people I know, she’s sweet kind, caring, and polite to a fault. She cared for my cats, mozzarella and blue cheese, for a month while I was moving across the country this summer. Despite the stressful situation and abundance of change during that time, my cats flourished under Angela’s care. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Angela to watch my cats or my boyfriend’s dog, Scooby. She was knowledgeable about my animal’s needs and behavior, and was able to care for my cats and me during our transition. Angela also has a wealth of information about many species of pets from reptiles to mammals. Love this lady to pieces, she’d be an excellent choice for a pet care taker!
Angela is a lover of pets big and small! She always makes sure her pets are well taken care of, including their diet and exercise. She makes sure to spend her time loving them equally. I would be comfortable leaving my animals in her care. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a sitter!

My philosophy is to treat all pets as if they were my own! I pay great attention to detail and will follow all instructions as given. You know your pet better than I do! My current fur babies require specific medications, food, and handling so I understand the anxiety around leaving your pet for any amount of time. I can assure you that if I have any questions I will always ask and that I will provide as much love and care as I can!

I would need to know if a dog has issues with other dogs, people, or other animals before I bring them out to walk so I know what situations to avoid. Any medical needs would need to be disclosed. Favorite treats, places to walk, or toys would also be a great thing for me to know!
A typical day
A typical day with anyone I dogsit is entirely up to the pet parent. If their baby likes to go for walks or hikes I can make that happen! If their baby just needs someone to sit and snuggle with them, I can do that too! My fur baby Sonya enjoys walking at Meadowbrook, so I am always happy to bring dogs there for walks.

Availability
I currently work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 4 until closing time for a boarding facility. If you need a house sitter/dog walker for a full weekend (Friday-Sunday) please feel free to reach out and I can see if your pet's Saturday routine works with mine! I politely ask for a 24 hour notice for all services for new clients so I can meet and greet you and your pet.
