I grew up with dogs as a kid. I had a Yorkshire terrier named Suzie and my parents still have our American Eskimo, Rocky, now almost 13 years old. I would love to have a dog, but I can't commit to a dog with medical school right now, knowing I'll have long hours once residency starts. I have fostered dogs for the last two years. I've fostered puppies and seniors. All of the dogs I have fostered have been on medications, so I have experience with that. Right now I only live four minutes from the school and have time for dog walks and dog-sitting. We often have independent study days where I could be home all day with the doggo. I have no dogs or cats of my own and would love to give cuddles and attention to your best friend!
