Pet care experience
My very first job was around the age of 10 pet sitting my neighbors cat and dog. Does that count?! I have also fostered 8 dogs in 2023 and all of them were adopted by grateful families. I thought I always wanted to own a dog, but I had to be sure so we started fostering. We fostered 8 dogs in 2023 from Coco's Dog Rescue from age 7 months to 13 years old. Then our 7th dog Nicolet, a sweet moyen poodle, stole my heart in August. My fiancé and I currently also fostering a very friendly mini poodle. I have provided basic grooming on all the dogs and cared for many of them post-operatively after spay/neuters and dental extractions. Unfortunately my fiancé David has bad allergies, so we are limited to hypoallergenic breeds only.
Reviews
Angie was a wonderful caregiver for our Bernadoodle, Ebony. I was very thankful that she took the time to understand our dog's needs and preferences and make Ebony feel welcome. I felt very comfortable leaving Ebony in Angie's care. Ebony had a grand time during her stay playing with Angie's dog in their fenced back yard, going on walks, and getting extra snuggles and attention. Angie made sure to send a lot of updates with pictures and videos. We have had a variety of experiences using Rover, and our dog's time with Angie was by far our best experience. I would highly recommend using Angie for your dogs care while you are away.
Angie was great with our pup! It was our first time using Rover and Angie was very organized and deliberate in making our dog feel comfortable while slowly acclimating her to the new environment, people, and other dogs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any of our friends or family members. Thanks again!
Angela N has fostered numerous rescue dogs to help them adapt to being in a normal, loving home. She adopted one of these dogs and the dog has done very well and is progressing well. She is consistent with the dog’s training and is careful to feed her quality foods and in the correct amount. I feel that she would do a great job with dog sitting other dogs as well.
Angie is a very attentive dog sitter. She fostered 8 dogs from Coco’s Heart in 2023 and gave unique love and individualized care to all of them. She worked with each dog to learn potty training and multiple tricks to make them more adoptable. She brushed all the dogs regularly and even groomed some of them. I could tell she fell in love with every dog she fostered and I know she treated all of them as her own as she prepared them for their forever homes. All 8 dogs were adopted by owners who were very grateful for the work she put into their dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dogs' safety is of outmost importance. We have a large fully-enclosed backyard and always leash when outside the home or fenced in yard. We prefer to practice very slow introductions over the course of a day. I am happy to provide photo and video updates throughout your dogs' stay. Please note that I have a two-page document of dog care instructions for my dog, so don't even think you can overwhelm me with care preferences and a daily schedule! We don't have kids so I think of Nicolet as my child.

Information Angela N. would like to know about your pet
Hypoallergenic dogs are the only types of dogs we are able to watch at this time due to allergies that we have to shedding breeds. I’d like to know your dog’s feeding schedule, potty schedule, medications, behaviors I should encourage or discourage and any other information you feel is relevant.
A typical day
We have a large fully fenced in back yard, so the dogs can run around and play tag, chase toys or balls, or sniff all the plants and flowers in the back yard. We will also go on walks through the nature preserve near my house (weather permitting). Then we can cuddle up on the dog beds and couch to relax in the evening.

Availability
I am a part time nurse so I have a lot of days off. I’d like to spend some of those days watching an additional dog. I would be the primary caregiver. I stay home a lot of weekends as well and would love to watch your dog.
