Hello! My husband and I are super excited that you are checking out our profile and thinking of us to becoming a part of your furry family member's adventures. Read on to learn more about us.... Angela has had dogs her entire life; both family dogs and dogs of her own. She got involved with local Animal Rescue groups approximately 10 years ago and throughout that period has been a volunteer, a foster home and has sat on the board of directors with various rescues. She is comfortable with small to large breeds, medical issues, young or old, anxious or angry. If your special friend has a specific issue of any sort, chances are she has probably dealt with a foster at some point that had similar charactaristics. Dogs have and will always be a part of her life. <3 Matthew has been a supporting character in Angela's rescue adventures since they met six years ago, and gifted Angela a foster puppy who was too perfect to let go of for Christmas 2014. Matthew's very first fur-baby is actually the dog in question - a friendly old soul in a young White German Shepherd/Husky cross's body by the name of Finn. Having said that, Matt has learned a lot about caring for and working with foster dogs of all walks in the rescue community. He is gentle and caring with all of the pups that have been in our care. More often than not, fosters are very scared so having a calm environment and knowing how to calm dogs down comes in very handy. What abour our home, you ask? Well, we recently purchased a house in Inglewood that we are slowly renovating back to its former glory. In addition to a large fully-fenced yard, one of the best things about our new home is that it backs onto a huge off-leash dog park! Acres of leash-free play is literally right outside of our back gate and we find ourselves there almost daily with our furry family member. Finn loves to play fetch with us and play with other dogs he meets as they romp around. Finn is extremely well socialized and was long before we moved to our current home, as he was a daily visitor of doggy daycare for the the first 3 years of his life. When we aren't outside playing with Finn or renovating our house we like to hang out, watch hockey games or movies and cuddle with furry friends on our sofa. In the summer months we also like to take Finn swimming at an awesome little swimming hole we found. The water is so clean that Matthew goes swimming too! If you didn't notice, most of our activities are based around Finn. We would love to welcome your pooch into our home to join in our fun anytime.
