Pet Lover Seeking Part Time Work
Pet care experience
Animal lover and pet sitter looking for part-time occasional work over the summer. I currently have a 5-year-old beagle and have grown up with cats my whole life. I have experience with feeding dogs, cats, fish, and small reptiles. Additionally, I am comfortable with walking small to medium dogs. I can also walk large dogs with a calm demeanor (since I am not as experienced with large dogs). I work professionally at WVU and am a doctoral student starting in the fall. I am very responsible with managing my time and professionalism. I'd love to work with you for the summer!

I am a very dedicated beagle mom and have taken care of cats my entire life. I currently work full-time and in that role, I promote the safety and wellbeing of college students. I am very responsible and am a quick learner. I also love animals and would take the time to interact with and play with your pet during visits. Additionally, I am Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified.
Information Angela M. would like to know about your pet
I think it's important to know what triggers the dog during walks (i.e. other dogs, humans, cars). My Beagle Daisy is personally afraid of other dogs, so we have worked with a trainer on redirecting and trying to remain calmer around other dogs while walking. I would be able to avoid these triggers if I know about them in advance. Additionally, it would be important to know if the pet has issues with going to the bathroom on the carpeting or floors of the home. I would be happy to clean this up if the owner provides the cleaning supplies!
A typical day
I really enjoy playing with my dog, Daisy, so I would definitely spend time with the dogs/cats that I would take care of. While feeding and potty breaks are the priority, I also want to give the pet attention. I love animals and naturally want to spend time with them.

Availability
I am currently working full-time, so I am available for primarily mornings, evenings, and weekends. I can definitely work to do a mid-day check in on a pet during my lunch hour and am open to an overnight stay depending on my schedule.
