Pampered Pet Experience
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm home most of the day and would love to help care for your pet when you cannot. I've volunteered for the Humane Society, animal rescues, and have experience as a professional pet sitter. I host 1-3 pet guest at a time in order to provide a very pampered doggie vacation. Pet guest receive 3-4 daily walks, go out as often as they like to potty, have play time, and snuggle time throughout the day. Since I do not have a fenced yard, I do walks year round, (in rain, snow storms and more), and walk up to 3 guest at a time. For safety, if potential guests are over 20 pounds, and pull on leash, unfortunately I am not the right match. If your pet is over 30 pounds and jumps on people, we are not a good fit at this time, due to having kiddos around the pet guests. If your pets do better in their own home, while you are away, I am available to drop in visits between 9a.m. - 5p.m. --availability dependent up on the day, and pet guest in my home. Guest need to arrive fresh and clean. Everyone will be playing together and will smell only as fresh, as the least fresh guest. Overnight guest need to have had a good bath or grooming appointment within 24 hours of arrival. I am happy to provide transport to and from the groomer in accordance with their stay. Please bring your doggie tags attached to their collar or harness and their leash. I provide clean dog beds, toys, and dishes, and ask that you bring their food. The house is kept very clean. Food and water bowls are kept fresh too. So you can rest assured that your loved fury family member will go home as fresh or fresher than when they arrived. I also reinforce basic commands w/ treats throughout the day, if your pup enjoys that game. If your fury family member is not leash trained, including pulling, - for safety, I asked that you supply a no jump, no pull harness for them, and walks will be adjusted for safety. Differing from high volume boarding, I provide a very pampered pet experience. Pet guest must get along with dogs and calmly co-exist with our kitty cat. A copy of shots and veterinary info. will be needed at the time of drop off or pick up. Pets with illness that could be transmitted to others, need postpone their stay. Should they become ill during their stay, they will need to go to the vet until they no longer risk sharing their illness with others. If overnight guest do not sleep 8 consecutive hours at night, while in my care, an additional fee of $25 a night will be applied. An additional fee will also be applied for pet guest who have consistent accidents in the house. Regular accidents require much cleaning time, to ensure other pet guest do not mark that area. If your dog has separation anxiety, you are encouraged to book them as a doggie day care guest, prior to their overnight stay. If a pet guest cannot be left alone for 1-3 hours on occasion, an addition fee may apply. If you need to cancel due to an emergency or illness, and book another stay for the same month, a credit will be applied. Professional dog sitting experience. References are available upon request. I look forward to keeping your pet safe, healthy and happy!
Reviews
She is amazing, and greatly appreciated!
Angela did a very professional job regarding the drop in visit for our 3 dogs. She took the time to do a meet and greet to get to know them ahead of time. She took the time to read and follow our instructions and care for our dogs.
Thank you Angela for taking awesome care of Cecee while our family was on vacation! Cecee is a very small dog who is typically shy around other dogs. Angela did a great job caring for Cecee. She understood my concerns with leaving Cecee at a kennel while we were gone. She made Cecee feel right at home with her. Angela kept us updated on Cecee daily to let us know she was doing fine and to send us some really sweet pictures. We will definitely be using Angela in the future!
Thanks Angela - I appreciate your thoughtful and loving care you showed Chestnut while I was away. ?

Information Angela M. would like to know about your pet
Things I need to know to help ensure your dog has a great experience and for safety: Medical conditions, special needs, required medications or supplements. What your dog enjoys doing or not doing. Where they like to sleep, when they prefer to eat. House rules, including if allowed on furniture at home. How they communicate when they need to go outside. If they have every shown signs of aggression or fear, under what circumstances, thunder, fire works etc. How he or she does on walks, including when they encounter other dogs, even if the other dog is not so friendly. How he or she does with other animals and people of all ages. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and several breeds. At this time, I prefer dogs 40 pounds or less, but also sit for dogs up to 150 pounds, who do well with other animals, people of all ages, and who are is leash trained and knows basic commands.
A typical day
Walks through neighborhoods, to parks including the metro parks and car rides, - if you say okay, and if your pup enjoys the car! A large kennel can be provided at your request, for car rides too. Playing fetch, or other games that your furry family member enjoys, review of basic commands, (if your dog enjoys that game), brushing, (if they like), snuggles, belly rubs, ear scratches, attention and companionship. If your doggie enjoys baths and you think it's near that time, I'm happy to help, (although I'm not a groomer). I have bathed dogs up to 110 pounds. Addition fee may apply, depending on the length of the stay and the size of your furry companion.
