Pet care experience
I've cared for my own and other's animals independently for 6 years. I'm happy to work with just about any exotic, but I have more experience (bare minimum 2 weeks exp.) working with cats, dogs, chickens, small birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, lizards, tortoises, turtles, and fish.

Angela is the best!!! She took excellent care of our dog, Moli, making sure that Moli had plenty of kibble and water available (she is “open feed”), walks, love and attention. Key to Angela’s care was making sure that Moli was able to get outside through her doggie door during daylight hours AND able to get to the dog run after sundown (doggie door is closed at night and yes, there are plenty of coyotes around). Moli was a happy pup, and so were we. Angela also watched over our home. She sent us photos of Moli frolicking and was great at communicating with us. Highly recommend her… Will use her services again (and again!).
Angela listens to details about your pets’ needs and makes sure they are safe and comfortable while you are away. She goes beyond giving food and water. She actually interacts with them and looks for ways to enrich their days. She sent photos of our dog happily playing so we could have peace of mind while we were traveling. Recommended!

I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and will gladly match the energy of your animal companion, whether it be getting down on the floor to play, curling up on the couch together, or just giving them space. I particularly love creating specialized enrichment for animals, such as puzzles, games, or hiding spaces, to provide individualized fun and stave off boredom. I can do walks, hikes, play, snuggles, brushing maintenance, baths (except for cats, sorry) clean up/out cages and litter boxes, but I charge a bit extra for full cage/tank cleaning and baths (prices determined by species and cage size, though generally between $10-20). I like to be aware of your pet's likes, dislikes, fears, favorites, and allergies if they have any so I can show them a better time together and avoid bringing them any discomfort. Whatever the animal and however you and your pet like to do, show me how and I'll learn so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

I am a full-time college student working toward a degree in animal biology/zoology and I work a few hours a week on a small family farm. Still, my hours are flexible outside lectures (generally between 11:30 AM & 3:00 PM, Mon - Thurs) so I can mold to you and your pet's preferred daily schedule.
