Pet care experience
I've had dogs ever since I was little. I have two dogs of my own, a Miniature Poodle and a Yorkie. I understand how important pets are, they are part of the family! When I first started college, I wanted to be a vet. During this time I spent a lot of time around the vet's office and fostering animals in my home. I then decided that becoming a vet was not right for me. I went into the finance field and became an accountant, graduating with a Master's degree in 2018. However, I still really love to be around animals! I'm a home owner, I work remotely, and I have no children. This allows me to help my community members care for their fur-babies when they are away! I would love to work with you to provide the best attention that your pet needs!

I will ensure they are happy and safe while you are away. I try my best to keep them on a routine, so they understand they are being cared for as well! I prefer to use a leash on dogs that do not have a fenced in area. I am very conscious of whether doors are unlocked and I always make sure fenced in areas are fully closed. It is helpful if the owner can provide vet information, and a secondary contact in case of an emergency.

Let me know what your dog's personality is like. What is their normal day? Do they have any special needs or routines? Do they like playing with other dogs? What is their favorite toy? If your dog requires medication, provide the schedule, name of medication, and how they normally receive the medication (pill pocket, peanut butter etc.)
A typical day
Geitner Park is my favorite place to go on long walks. I also like to visit the dog park to wear out high energy dogs, like my poodle. Fetch and tug-o-war are my top play time activities for dogs. Some dogs, like my yorkie, would much rather hang out and snuggle, and that's ok too!

Availability
I have the most free time on weekends. On weekdays I'm available morning, noon, and evenings for check ins. When housesitting, I generally stay with your pet during the day, and stop home for dinner. Overnights are optional, depending on your pet's needs.
