Since I was born in 1989, I was raised with dogs in my household. We had Labradors, who come with their share of health problems. I grew up helping giving the dogs medicine and had the responsibility of feeding them. When I was 17, my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. Often times, I'd be the one feeding her and then giving her her insulin shot in her neck. I learned how to massage the spot where the injection was going to go, and then carefully give her the shot. She lived for another three years, which the vet said was an amazing feat. I love animals so much, and I only want them to be well cared for and happy/healthy.
