Hi, everyone! I'm in the Windsor Park neighborhood of Austin. My house has a fenced backyard, and the street is a cul-de-sac. Pretty sweet. I'm an easy walking distance from Mueller Park if your pup likes to go for strolls around the lake. Some Background: In college, I worked at a dog daycare in Denton, TX before adopting my own little guy named Waffle (RIP - he lived a long, happy life). In recent years, I have frequently dog-sat for family Border Collies, Retrievers, Chizers, and Schnoodles. During my grad school career, I befriended a leggy mutt named Oppie who never seemed to stop growing... The last time I dog-sat him, I "galloped" him (rather than walked him) with the help of a scooter. In my last semester of graduate school now, my schedule is still fairly flexible, as long as your dog can chill long enough for me to get some writing done. Don't worry, though, I like to take frequent breaks, and your pupper would be the perfect excuse to go for a stroll in the sunshine. Oh, and if your dog likes hikes, I'm your gal! I have a relaxed attitude when it comes to training, preferring the basic "sit, stay, here", but let me know if you have any special rules that need to be followed.
