Pet care experience
As a remote freelancer, I've had lots of time to dote on my grumpy old dog during the pandemic. After all this attention, he'd be relieved if your pet(s) could take me off his paws! Experienced in pet care across the Midwest, I'm ready to walk your cold-loving dog 5 miles in the winter, cuddle your heat-seeking pet all day on the couch, or leave them well alone, thank you very much. A master player of fetch and avid tugger of war, I look forward to hanging out with your pet(s)!

We haven't left our dogs with a sitter in a few years so we (and the dogs) were understandably nervous but I've never seen photos of my dogs so at ease and attached to a sitter before Angela. They definitely have their "quirks" but we love them so much and seeing how happy and well taken care of they were made the trip so much easier. If we need a sitter again she would be our first choice.
Angela is always the best!! Our dog loves her and she is so great with his...quirks!
Angela was so good to our girl and sent the best updates to let us know what our pup was up to. We also had special feeding instructions and medication for our dog and Angela was on top of it. Highly recommend!
Angela was an amazing sitter! Our two dogs had a wonderful time with her over several days at our house. She's a caring and attentive sitter who kept us updated with photos and videos, giving us peace of mind so we could enjoy our trip. We highly recommend Angela for your dog-sitting needs!

I care for your pets the same way I care for mine. Our little dude is a jumper and food-hound, so I am always very careful about what is within reach, whether food or otherwise. I love snuggles and pets, but I also know that pets need room to breathe. And, as the owner of a small dog, I am always diligent about being aware of my surroundings and the safety and restraint of my little guy. I strive to leave my clients' houses as good as, if not cleaner than when I arrived. I do ask for access to Wifi for my work, otherwise I will have to leave and return throughout the day.

I have no breed preferences, but I do ask for your pet's general routine, feeding information, exercise habits, food sensitivities, chewing/destructive habits, if they are friendly to other animals/people, etc.
A typical day
I'm a fan of a brisk walk as much as a leisurely every-tree-sniffed stroll. I love playing fetch, but am just as content to hold a bone being chewed. I'm happy to work quietly as your pet naps, and I'm certainly not averse to sharing the bed.

Availability
I work remotely, so I'm generally flexible. I do my best to cater to your pets' needs, but I may occasionally need to leave for a maximum of 6 hours. However, the majority of my time will be spent giving your pet(s) the love and attention they deserve! PLEASE NOTE: I'm currently NOT accepting recurring bookings since I can't guarantee consistent availability. However, if your schedule is more flexible or you're in need of a backup, feel free to reach out! CONSTANT CARE: If your pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than an hour, my $250/day constant care rate will apply.
