Hello! I am a lifelong dog owner and sitter, lucky enough to have cared for dogs for over 30 years. Dogs bring so much joy to my life! I will be so happy to spoil your dog with my love and care. I am a mindfulness meditation and yoga teacher, and I will practice compassionate presence with your pet to make sure they feel cared for and comfortable. I am a gentle, loving, attentive dog sitter, walker and boarder, and your pets unique needs will always be well attended to. I have experience with many ages and breeds of dogs and have taken many dog care & training courses. Angela is a kind, caring, responsible person, with a deep love for dogs, and for all living things for that matter. The decision about when and how to end your beloved pet's life is one of the most difficult ever. Angela is going through that process right now with her 16 year old dog. Emma cannot see or hear, has lost a lot of weight and probably has cancer. Emma does not seem to be in pain, but how can we know? Angela has tremendous empathy for all living things. She is responsible, caring and confident. Let her care for your pets as she has cared for Emma.
Angela was most awesome especially that I left her with my 3 dogs - 2 14 pounders and one 12 pounder. She took care of them like her own!!! Great home, nice fenced yard and good companionship. I am very tense leaving my dogs anywhere but at Angela's I left the country and didn't have a worry at all!!

My house: We lots of space and many cozy sleeping surfaces so your dog can find the perfect spot to relax, snooze, or socialize. And they're welcome to make themself cozy anywhere they like - on the couch or bed, or if you'd rather they don't get accustomed to jumping on furniture, I have plenty of cozy dogs beds for them to snuggle up in. I don't board large dogs, so you don't have to worry that your dog will be in the company of an animal that might intimidate them. I have a huge, safe, fenced-in yard that they'll have access to all day long. Your house: I know it can be hard to leave your home and pets in the care of someone else. You can trust that I will take as much care of your home & dogs as I do with my own (and that's a lot!!). I'm an extremely conscientious sitter and l'll make sure everything is as tidy (or more so) than when you left. I will respect your privacy and your belongings. I'm also a plant person and would be glad to care for your gardens and houseplants. You can rest assured that everything will be well taken care of and secure. I'll send you daily photos & videos so you can see for yourself.

A typical day
At my house: I love dogs and want yours to love being here! I live on a beautiful half acre under the redwoods and oak trees in Forestville, which is fully enclosed, so dogs are free to explore and play safely. Your dog will love exploring all the smells and sensations of our forested paradise! Our street is a long, quiet dead end road with few cars, perfect for long walks. And there's a huge park right across the street. At home, I have lots of toys for them to play with, and I also have a small dog of my own, a 12 year old, 15 pound mini-poodle mix who's a complete lovebug and a very polite and curious doggie playmate. Having new doggie friends come over (for day care) is a joy to both of us. At your house: I will take your dog anywhere they'd like to go! I adore nature trails and I'd love to take your dogs for a long walk. If they like to play at home, I'll make sure they get some good exercise and fun times. And when they're in the mood for quiet cuddles, I will bring a book and snuggle beside them while they snooze. Whatever we do, I promise your dogs will feel cared for and happy.

I am a stay at home freelancer, so your dog will always have company, and I'll be able to attend to them fully and completely.
