Pet care experience
I've been rescuing and/or taking care of dogs since I was 10. I treat all little ones like they're my own. It's just part of what makes me happy...seeing them happy. While taking care of my sweet geriatric chihuahua and geriatric toy poodle, both on medication and in diapers, my level of patience and empathy grew exponentially. It truly has helped me to be in tune with what your baby needs in order to be, not just safe, but comfortable and happy. Currently our babies are a gentle Golden Retriever, puppy Chi-mix and 2 cats. My sweet Dexter (chihuahua) and Zach (toy poodle) aren't with us anymore, but they lived exceptionally wonderful lives and brought us such joy.

A typical day
I love taking fur babies on walks in the neighborhood and playing in the backyard. Fetch is a biggie down the hallway and clearing the way when the zoomies start. When they're tuckered, it's time to cozy up with me in the recliner to cuddle.

My older children don't need me much anymore, so I'm home most of the time taking care of fur-babies more than I do them! I'm a stay-at-home dog and cat mom with kids. ;)
