My passion for animals runs deep. I have been taking care of dogs since childhood (35+ years). Professionally, I have experience working at a doggie daycare and for a self-service dog wash. I understand the importance of keeping pets on a consistent, healthy diet and administering medication properly. As a doggie daycare attendant, sometimes managing 60 dogs at once, I understand the importance of reading dog behavior and redirecting to diffuse situations. This skill translates to dog walking when there are many different stimuli - other dogs, people, squirrels, traffic, something on the ground they should not eat, etc. I understand the importance of being consistent with dog training and using the same commands as the owners is key. Dogs come in all shapes and sizes but it is important to be intentional with each dog's particular needs and understand their unique personality. There is a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I have been running a small hobby farm since 2016 and have experience with chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, cats, peacocks, pigs, and goats. Feel free to reach out for any unique pet care needs.
