I grew up with dogs and currently have one dog of my own, and frankly, my life revolves around her. I understand how challenging it can be to find a pet sitter that you trust with such an important member of your family, so I strive to fill that gap for you! I absolutely love all dogs, and Rover gives me the chance to spend some extra time around dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I spent several years volunteering with a rescue, so I understand concerns that many owners will have with their sometimes challenging animals - like dogs that are leash reactive, or those that are fearful in general. I have attended seminars on working with dogs like this that need a caregiver who can tend to their extra needs. For those with pups with allergies, too, I understand the battle - so you can be assured that your pet will not be given any goodies that may not agree with them while in my care! In addition to this, having several special needs pets, I am very comfortable administering medication (including oral meds, eye drops/ointments, etc), sub-q fluids, and I have experiencing feeding via feeding tube and working with a bailey chair, should your pet need that. I am also happy to cat sit - I have two of my own and am very cat-savvy. I work a typical "office" schedule (8-5 Monday through Friday) but I'm happy to do drop ins before and after work and on weekends, and may be able to accommodate special requests on an individual basis.
