Born to love dogs !

Pet care experience

I was born into a family with many furry family members and realized at a young age that dogs will always be a big part of my life! I have grown to realize that all dogs have one thing in common: loyalty. They’re always so selfless in giving us tons of love to brighten up our day. That’s why I’ve tried to do what I can to give back to them however possible, and it has been my mission to become more experienced in being able to deliver the best care to our four legged friends. I love having the opportunity to be able to get to know every dog and their distinct personality! My experience with pups extends far beyond being just a dog owner, but it definitely started there! I was born into a family that owned five dogs (2 Dobermans, 2 Collies, and a terrier mix). My love of pups started very early on, as these pups were definitely my best friends through and through. When I got a little older, I started dog walking for neighbors, family, and friends. Since then, my business has only grown and I have 15 years of experience walking and sitting under my belt! I have also been a volunteer, and have also owned pups who require medication and special care. Now, I currently have a rescue pup that is 5-and-a-half-years old, and she is the light of my life! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is with me, I’ll make sure they are treated just like a member of the family. After all, that’s the kind of love that you show your pup! My number one goal is to make them feel happy, healthy and safe, and one of the best ways to do that is by emulating the environment that they’re used to at home. That means learning their schedules, regimens, and habits inside and out. Dogs are creatures of habit, so getting to know what makes them tick is the surest way to make them feel comfortable. But as much as I love learning new information, I also love making sure owners are up-to-date on their pooch. I like sending regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! And, of course, I keep all of my lines of communication open, so I’m always around if any questions or concerns should ever arise.

We are so happy to recommend Angel to anyone who is looking for a caring, responsible person to watch their pup. Our dog is spoiled and we are nervous pet parents but we didn’t have to worry with Angel. She gave us tons of feedback and sent texts and pictures so we knew how everything was going all weekend. Our house was in perfect shape when we got home and, more importantly, our pup was happy!

Angel did a wonderful job taking care of Morgan and Sam for a week while we were away. She gave Morgan her insulin shots twice a day at the right times so that Morgan stayed healthy. Angel is very reliable, professional, and the dogs love her. We will ask Angel to come again and consider ourselves very lucky to have had her to help us out.

Information Angel T. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

I lead a very active lifestyle, so your pup will be right at home with me if they like get lots of exercise! The first order of business would be to head out to a park where there are big, open places to play! There are many dog parks in my area, and some of my favorite parks include Oriole, Hinkley, Centennial Beck Lake, Paws and Prospect Park! We’d head to the park closest to us with a couple of toys in tow and have a ball! I love how the Northwest Suburbs and Chicago neighborhoods have so many different parks for dogs to play in. One of my favorite things about each of the neighborhoods around me is how many dog lovers there are! I see a lot of businesses that leave out water bowls and treats which gives my neighborhood a real dog friendly feel. I would love to have the opportunity to show your four legged family member around! I am a college student, but I try to only go to class a couple days a week in order to be more available so that I can be around in case a furry friend needs my help. I am a also performer and sometimes have spontaneous meetings/study groups or gigs. If I have any event I will be sure to update it in my calendar to prevent any confusion. I usually am not doing anything in the late evening so that I can be around for my client
