Being the caring, social creature that I am, sometimes stepping away from human interaction is a great thing. Walking dogs gives me that step away to recharge while still allowing me to continue being caring and social, but without the need for constant verbal communication. This means lots of pets, cuddles, and play time while we are together. I worked with Monster Minders for approximately one year and had my own pit bull, chico, while growing up. I am a patient minder that opts to ignore pups if they are misbehaving as opposed to disciplining them. This allows for them to correct their behavior and be rewarded for learning what is acceptable. I have found that this makes for a much smoother relationship between pup sitter and pup!
