Pet care experience
My name is Ambrose (I cant change it without legally changing my name but I dont go by my legal name anymore) I am currently studying for my CPDT-KA and hope to offer training in the future as I learn. Currently reading "The Other Side of the Leash by Patricia McConnel" and "The Power of Positive Training by Pat Miller" The science of how dogs learn is fascinating to me and I continue to learn more every day! I currently am rehabbing my rescue pittie Zuko (who you can follow on IG @ZukothePitbullPup) using science based force free methods. He has taught me so much and our bond grows every day. He is not dog friendly so I do not offer in home boarding. A little about me. I'm 32 year old guy who loves dogs! For communication with people I use an AAC device as I am Autistic and often non-speaking. Funnily enough I never have issues speaking to dogs selective mutism is weird! I would like a return of my money as the dogs never stayed there Angel changed and canceled plans one hour and 20 minutes before we were to drop our dogs off.
My dog was taken care of very well and she was a happy camper when I picked her up!

In the past I did do in home boarding and daycare but now that I have a dog reactive dog I'm unable to do that. However I can do potty breaks for your doggos, walks, and checking in on your pets 1-3 times a day during your absence!

What I need to know from you before walking your dog or coming to your home for potty breaks etc: Any on-going or past behavioral issues. If your dog walks well or is a puller (ask that dogs that pull be in front clip harness for walking for safety and permission to train LLW skills on our walks.) I will walk or care for any dog but if your dog has stranger danger we will need to go slow in our introductions so your dog will feel safe with me. Feel free to ask me any questions and know that you absolutely cant give me too much info on your Furry kids.
A typical day
I'm not sure how to describe a typical day as I wont be offering day care or boarding. I can take your pup for walk, do indoor enrichment activities (that you would provide the supplies for such as kong, treats, puzzle toys, or any DIY enrichment activities you'd like me to do with your dog), outdoor enrichment / play in your yard. I'm also looking to do some training with clients who are comfortable with that to gain more hands on experience as the CPDT-KA certification requires 300.hours of working with dogs professionally to even take their test!

I'm disabled and working on applying for SSI/SSDI but do need some income while I go through the process. I'll be looking to do Rover stuff a couple days a week maybe more depending on the week.
