I currently volunteer at the local animal shelter and I have cared for dogs for most of my life. I can walk, bathe, and keep the dogs over night. So, please fell free to contact me. :) PS I stay with my boyfriend few miles away so at his house there are 3 dogs, and my dog Gizzie currently lives at my parents house until I can work something out. Safety Plan To stop them for from potentially escaping from me while either walking, bolting through the doors or playing anywhere, I would make sure I have a very close eye on them or grip. I would make sure they couldn't get out of the door without me allowing them to. If the dogs have never met I would want to introduce them slowly first, and especially if they are timid. I would introduce them by having my dog on a leash and let me sniff each other and get used to each other. At my apartment or my boyfriend's house is where the introductions will occur. I will watch for if they start getting tense and especially if they start getting rough. Pull them separate and regroup in a few minutes or so. With feeding I would place their in different areas so that they are not all on top of one another. If they feel anxiety, I will immediate separate from another dog and address the problem whatever it may be. I will let the owner know as soon as it occurs.
