Angel seems to be a caring sitter, but our dog did not bond well with her or her two friendly dogs in the week she kept our dog. I don't think it was all Angel's fault as she made an effort, but she has a baby that probably takes a lot of her attention. We took our dog over to meet Angel before we booked, but she was intimidated because Angel was caring for 3 other big dogs at the time. I thought once they were gone, our dog would be okay. However, she was so scared and confused, she wouldn't come inside or eat the first few days and growled at Angel, which is very unlike her. She had stayed with other sitters but with our other 2 pups who were not here this time. Angel tried to coax her with treats and allowed her freedom in the house, but she said our dog got in the trash. She eventually settled down and somewhat adjusted. I received only one unsolicited update from Angel that wasn't in response to my inquiries with few details and only 2 pictures. She let me know 2 hours before our scheduled pick up time that she was not available until 1.5 hours later. When we arrived (at the same time as Angel) to pick her up, our dog was sleeping on the couch and showed no signs of any trauma. At first she acted like she was in trouble but warmed up quickly when she realized it was us. I would recommend letting your dog spend more time bonding with Angel before leaving your dog with her to ensure a good fit.

I was texted multiple times that Lucky was peeing in the house. I asked after the first text if I should come and get him and could they keep him outside ... I was told not taht would not be necessary and that he was outside. Then I got text stating that our daycare was cancelled and I should come and pick him up 5 hours early and that he was banned from future visits.
