Hi there! I’m Angel, a 22 year old graduate living in the North East. I am a full time animal lover by nature with an obsession for all sorts of pets. I have spent 3 years volunteering at a petting farm in my home town, handling and caring for a huge range of large and small animals. On top of this, I have volunteered as a dog walker at my local dog rescue and boarding facility, Homeless Hounds, walking a range of rescue dogs and dogs boarded for their owner’s holidays! My own dog, Archie, is my pride and joy. Being a rescue himself, I have grown up beside him and taken him to many fun dog shows, learning about dogs throughout the 9 years of owning him. Throughout my life I have had many pets, and devoted my spare time to all things animal related, even when I haven’t been able to interact with them in person. I particularly love animal showing, especially Dog Shows! I took part in my first ever YKC handling show with a borrowed dog in 2022, the same year I attended my first Crufts.

Angel is an animal enthusiast. Animals are without question her greatest passion in life, with her having worked on farms for much of her early life. She is obsessed with dogs and horses, knowing almost anything about any breed by just looking at them. She recently booked off holiday time to watch Crufts. She absolutely loves animals and cares for them as if they were her own child. She’s an absolute sweetheart.

I aim to try and get to know the pets in my care as much as possible in advance. I may ask you questions about your dogs temperament, behaviour with humans, behaviour with other dogs/animals and more just to be able to provide the best possible attention and care.
A typical day
Ensuring your pet is comfortable and safe is my priority! Whether that’s taking it easy and having a calm and relaxed time, or boosting their activity with plenty of exercise and play.

Availability
I currently work 4 days a week, with my days off being regular and routine. This makes pet care a lot easier for me to organise as I can plan around work! Adding pet care into my weekly routine would boost my mood and animal care development tenfold.
