I've grown up with a house full of pets since I was a baby, from the smallest chick's and bunnies and degus, to the precious cats and Dogs so I am well educated in many different types of animal care and a true animal lover! I have pet and house sat for about 4 years now, looking after client's cats, dogs of all sizes as well as small animals, such as guinea pigs, all alongside each other. I've been fortunate enough to be able, when suitable, to take my clients dogs, into the forests for long walks or running with me with caddy cross which is always great fun for all of us!

Angel has been fabulous! I was extremely nervous about leaving the dogs in somebody else’s care and also our house but Angel has updated me every day, she’s even tidied up the dogs toys and sent me lovely pictures. I would most definitely recommend Angel and I will definitely be asking her for more help in the future!
Angel is brilliant. Paddy loved his daily snuggles with Angel. When I returned, he was in good health and happy. I was nervous because he’d struggled when I tried a cattery before but Angel was absolutely fantastic and Paddy was in great spirits when we returned. Great communication from Angel, loved the daily updates and we would definitely hire her again 😊
Angel was great. My boys had lots of love and attention in her care. They were very calm and happy when we came home and the house was clean and tidy. Thank you 😊

During dog walks, of course depending on your dogs personalities and your instructions, they will stay on lead or be allowed to roam off lead! I prefer off lead walking if we are in a big park as they can get more exercise, however passing other dogs with their leash on, I always recall the dog in my care, wait and re-leash them if needed. I have my own car and full UK driving license with pet friendly seat belts so if there is ever an emergency, they are safe to travel in my car and I am also fully DBS checked!

A typical day
Depending on what your dog loves and needs, we will go on long, fulfilling walks in Bute park, playing endless rounds of fetch and getting tired out or the more urban routes for a city pooch that like to stroll around and sniff their usual routes! Whatever it is, I record my walks via my watch and upload on an app called Strava, which tracks my route and pace! I can block out my starting and ending points so your home address is protected, or at your request, I can keep the 'activity' between me and yourself! You will able to see where your dog has gone and how long we have been out for which offers a great peace of mind!

I'm currently studying nursing at University so my schedule is flexible! I've always worked alongside my studies and with this line of work it is perfect as I get to take plenty of fresh air breaks and do something I really love!
