Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Angela! I am a recent graduate of Rutgers University with a BS in Animal Science. I plan on going into the veterinary field and have a lot of experience working with small and large animals. I have also worked as a veterinary nurse at two local veterinary hospitals. I truly love animals and am very passionate about caring for them. I spent a month studying abroad in Belize, learning about veterinary medicine and treating local animals. I have the skills and knowledge to care for animals with special needs, like my dog Diesel who is diabetic and blind. Diesel is very friendly but since he’s nearly 12 years old now, he enjoys resting most of the day. He was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus in 2015 and I have been routinely administering insulin injections to him. I am comfortable administering insulin injections and giving medications to animals as required. I also have a cat, Roman who will be turning 5 in August. He was a ferrel kitten when he found his forever home with us-his is a bit feisty, but has warmed up to us overtime. I work 8:00-4:00 Monday through Friday. I am no longer offering services in the afternoon. I updated my calendar as frequently as possible. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies in your absence, and will provide them with the love and care needed. IMPORTANT: please create a profile for each animal in your household (and any other pet) that needs care. Please include ferrets, birds, hamster, rabbits, etc. Care rate for additional pets (other than dog or cat) will be provided to you. Also, an additional $10 per day fee will be added for administering medication. Feel free to contact me with any questions :)
Reviews
Ang was amazing and her services were better then we could have ever imagined. Our cat has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and needs insulin 2x/day. We were very hesitant to travel but Ang put us at ease. She came for a initial meeting to meet our cats and took very detailed notes about their routines. The week we were out of town, she did an amazing job with both of our cats. Our cats quickly became very comfortable with her and enjoyed their visits with Ang. She is caring, responsive and great at what she does. We are so glad that we were able to connect with her and definitely recommend her to everyone. Thank you!!!
Any is beyond responsive, caring and did an excellent job! I highly recommend her
Angela is caring, loving and the perfect sitter for our diabetic dog Holly. She knows the importance of Holly eating and how to adjust to her moods and needs. I feel confident and happy Holly was in such good hands. I recommend Angela 100 percent.
Ang did a great job house sitting our Callie. She

I’ve dog sat miniature pinschers to German Shepherds. I don’t have a breed preference I really love them all and don’t buy into breed stereotypes! I’m more comfortable with dogs weighing 100 lb and lower. If you have a loving dog that’s over 100lb and is well behaved / trained feel free to contact me! The weight preference is based on my ability to maintain control over the dog and situation at all times. It’s really important for me to work with dogs who have a friendly temperament. I don’t mind puppy’s who can be nippy and rambunctious or older dogs who likes to keep to themself but I do not tolerate aggressive dogs. Food aggression is okay as long as I’ve been made aware beforehand. For dog sitting in your home, dogs MUST be crate trained, I prefer potty trained dogs, but don’t have an issue with dog who are not as long as cleaning supplies are supplied. Please let me know if you have a fenced in yard for pet sitting in your home. I require dogs who are 1 year of age to be up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccines. Proof will be asked for before sitting services. This is for myself and your dog.
