I’ve had a GSP, Husky, and English Bulldog. My Husky was brought to me at only 2weeks, and I had to bottle feed. She has BIG Husky diva behavior, so I’m cool with temperament. Both her and, my GSP were escape artists. I know that every move counts and it’s about attention to detail/ predicting the play. My Bulldog recently recovered from tail surgery, so I understand that medication timeliness and calmness is crucial to recovery. I’m also familiar with other breeds that need to be monitored during play/ walks in heat due to health risks. My bulldog is tough, but mom knows best. (Even during just regular indoor play). I’ve crate trained all of my dogs and with basic commands, sit, stay, off, down/up. Currently, I’m training my bulldog to walk next to a stroller. I’ve also volunteered at two shelters near Rockford and in Dekalb. Side note- nothing grosses me out. I removed fishing hooks from a yellow lab puppy at the lake last year, and my dad had a Great Dane that liked to roll in dead animals / poop. Very fun. My GSP passed in 2016. I understand that our pets are our world, our family, our best friend. I promise I will protect yours. I’d love to be apart of your village to support you with your baby.
