I grew up with all kinds of pets - dogs, cats, birds, turtles, hamsters, etc. I used to petsit very often when I lived in Saint Louis before through Rover/other connections and loved doing it, but then I moved overseas for two years. Now that I'm back, I'm really looking forward to taking care of pets again! I am super flexible, communicative, and excited about being with your pets. I don't have loads of special skills, but I'm very happy to learn them.

Unfortunately, I am unable to board any pets due to having two cats in a small apartment. I play with my cats, spend time with them inside and outside, feed them, clean out their litter box, take them to the vet, cuddle with them. I haven't personally owned a dog as an adult, but did grow up with multiple big dogs (huskies and samoyeds) and have spent lots of time with dogs through friends and petsitting. I enjoy being around them and am very comfortable with them.

I'd like to know what kind of dog I'm taking care of, and whether training is involved. I'm happy to help with training/teaching tricks, but I'd need to be shown what that looks like.
A typical day
Play with whatever fun toys are available, play outside if there's a yard, go on walks around the neighborhood and explore together, give fun treats if available, snuggles on the couch
