After taking a few years off after the devastating death of our beautiful boy Rueben (and moving to Jersey City), I have decided it's time to begin offering a dog/house sitting and daycare services again. A month after Rueben passed we decided we couldn't stand not having a dog in our lives, so we adopted the cutest little (not so much now) rescue dog - Loki. He literally is the centre of our world now and it made me realize how much I absolutely adore the different personalities of dogs. And now I want to know more of them. Loki gives me the excuse to stop and say hi to all the dogs on the street (without it seeming weird), but I feel I want to get to know more. I had at least 2 dogs in the house when I was growing up and that is obviously where I developed the love for them and have vast experience in caring for them. When I began on Rover a few years back I was pretty much booked solid with all the services I offered, but now I've decided to do the sitting only because that's the best way to develop a beautiful connection with the pup. I work for myself as a freelance creative so I'm pretty flexible and I can often help out with a last minute booking. As I can work remotely I will stay at your house with your fur baby for the entire booking and I will absolutely not, let them spend the night alone. I feel the more time I spend there with the dog, he/she will adapt quicker and feel more comfortable being left with me and hopefully avoid any anxiety they may have. If suitable I'd be happy for your pup to meet Loki and they can have bit of a play. They would also get the Loki walking schedule. Big walk in the morning and evening and a small walk at lunch.
