I have raised three dogs and one cat from infancy to adulthood and thus am very experienced in handling both types of animals. (See photos). One is a 15 year old golden retriever, one is a half corgi/half heeler, and one is a westie. The cat is a domestic short-haired. I understand all the quirks that a dog can have from random howling, separation anxiety, and hyper-active drooling. I will give the dog plenty of attention by playing with them or giving them long walks. For cats, I have also been raising cats all my life and understand what it takes to give them proper care. I also am very proactive in knowing when a dog needs to pee and I prefer to let a dog out 3-4 times a day. Furthermore, I am accustomed to the cold and will make sure to put on all adequate clothing on the dog to keep it from being exposed to the salt or cold. I will give the dog plenty of scratches and attention. I also live with my girlfriend who is equally knowledgeable/attentive and will be able to give your puppy lot's of love. It will be a luxurious experience for your puppy/cat. I am available Mon-Fri evenings as well as all day Sat - Sun.

IMPORTANT: I have a cat. Please inform me of how your dog reacts to cats. If you don't know, we can do a meet and greet to access the situation. Be able to provide photos of some sort of proof that your dog is taking flea medication or has been flea medicated in some way (flea collar, flea bath, flea powder). I will not take untreated dogs and during the meet and greet, I would need to run a flea comb over your dog to make sure myself. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your dog is POTTY TRAINED on CARPET or an extra fee of $20 for extra care will need to be added. This can be added before or during the stay depending on dog behavior. I take the dogs out 3-4 times a day (depending on owner recommendations) and on at least mile walks each. Make sure this is adequate for the dog. IMPORTANT: On the pickup day (the day I am returning the dog), you must pickup before 11:01 am or I will charge an extra $20 for day-care. This will be charged before the booking. If your dog is not picked up before 10:01 pm the stay will be extended and another night will be charged. Also, I can not provide pick up and return service. Please make sure that you are able to drop off and then pick up the dog and ALL supplies
A typical day
My number one task is to make sure they poop/pee and get adequate exercise. I will encourage the dog to walk on grass or other areas as directed to encourage them to use the bathroom. I usually walk about 1 mile per trip.
