I am currently a grad student at Univerity of Delaware. I have had pets my entire life: cats, birds, dogs, mice, fish, etc. You name it, we probably had it, and I'm likely happy to take care of it. I grew up with a black lab, a corgi and a miniature dachshund, so I am comfortable taking care of a range of dog sizes. Recently I have been missing having a dog in my life, and would love to take care of yours when you need a helping hand. In addition to house sitting, or dog walking, I am a runner, so I can take your dog for a jog if that is what they are used to. I do currently have one cat that I adore. He is 7 years old and lives in the basement apartment of our home due to my roommates allergies. So if your dog needs boarding but is not cat friendly, they would never need to interact. My cat grew up with two dogs and is dog friendly. If instead you need a cat sitter, I am well experienced at petting them the correct amount of time before being politely, yet firmly, told they're done being touched (usually by claw or fang), and no litterbox is too stanky for me to scoop.
