Anyone who knows Andrew knows he LOVES dogs. He grew up with dogs his entire life, including golden retrievers and a variety of rescue pups. In fact, about a year ago, Andrew found a stray hound near his house and decided to take him in, bring him to the vet, name him, begin training him, and care for him for a few weeks until he could drive him up to his parents' house. Even though he couldn't keep a big dog at his house at the time, he couldn't bear the thought of just dropping him off at a shelter and never looking back. The dog, Maverick, now lives happily at his parents' house where he has a huge fenced in yard to run around in and two other rescue dogs who have become his brothers. Andrew doesn't just love the big dogs, however. He also occasionally pet sits for his next door neighbor's 4lb Chihuahua mix, Blue. Even though Andrew's hand is bigger than this dog, he is so gentle and sweet with Blue and she absolutely adores him, running up to his back door begging to be let in to play when she sees him through the door. Not only does Andrew love dogs and dogs love him, but he is also a highly responsible and reliable person. Dog owners can depend on him to follow every instruction to a tee, show up on time, have the expertise to care for the dogs any way that is needed, and become their dog's new best friend in the process. I cannot think of a better guy to be a dog caregiver and I can guarantee any dog owner can trust him.
