Pet care experience
My wife and I have cats, but we both grew up with dogs and long to have another in the near future. Just looking to help the neighbors out when you go away so you can enjoy your trip and not have to worry about little ones at home! For loads of peace of mind, I've had multiple experiences with emergency situations with my family dog, so if anything were to happen your furry friend would be in very good hands. I'm based in the Franklin area, and I’d love to meet your furry family members!

Andrew was a great sitter for my timid felines, Lily and Templeton. He won Templeton’s confidence in the first few days and he made every effort to reassure Lily that she was in good hands. He was very heartfelt with his interactions with them, which showed in his updates to me. He sent daily pictures and kept in contact with me to ensure the best care. With the utmost care and respect. Pets are in our lives to improve them, regardless of the way they’re treated across the board. Just like humans, pets deserve to be treated with love and care. They have feelings too, and it’s important to me that each pet I care for feels loved, even if they’re not wanting to see a stranger. Through calm and patient approaches, my goal is to have every pet be my best friend by the end of my visits with them.

I don’t have a breed preference and don’t discriminate in care. I would like to know of special situations ahead of time, because I do like to know what I’m getting into but it won’t deter me from helping if I’m available.
A typical day
Dogs have pent up energy - they need to run, even if they’re in a later stage of life and it’s a slow walk. Regardless, dogs exude energy and love to explore and use that energy. While I don’t like taking dogs I don’t know on something like a hike in an unknown area to them, I do try to make a point to ask where they’re familiar on a walk so we can see some calming, familiar sites.

Availability
I do work 8-5 in an office but have an hour for lunch so can swing by during lunch time, and of course before and after work. It’s all in a day’s work!
